Hyundai Santa Fe Cargo Screen installation problems

big_richbig_rich Member Posts: 1
I just purchased a genuine Hyundai Cargo Screen kit for my 2009 Santa Fe and there were not directions in the kit or any tools to remove the plastic caps along the side boards where it needs to be installed.

Can anyone help me and let me know if I am missing any pieces from the kit and/or how to remove the caps without scratching up the side board?

I appreciate any help you can provide.

All you need is a small thin-blade screwdriver to get in between the plugs and the molding. It took me a bit of effort, and I did scratch up the molding a bit (it's hidden by the arm of the screen once it's in place). Go slowly and carefully, they'll pop out.

Can the cargo screen be used with the seats down? I want to put the rear seats down to accomodate my rabit hutch but would like to shield the rest of the cargo area containing gifts and luggage, from view. If it can, I'll buy one, otherwise there's no point

I'm not sure but I don't see any reason why not. The cargo screen doesn't seem to be attached to the seats.
