Toyota Solara Peeling Chrome on Grille

I have a 2000 solara with the chrome peeling off the front grille. I have noticed that other solara's are doing the same thing. It would be nice to see toyota do something about this. Has anyone got their grilles replaced because of this?

    I've got the same issue--however the chrome on the Toyota insignia is NOT peeling...

    I've thought about just removing the chrome from the remainder of the grille and letting the logo float in a sea of black.

    Do a search for Part # TO1200255. I bought a replacement grille 2 years ago for about $120. It took 15 minutes to swap it out.

    I had the same problem. I use chrome spray to re-print the grill but turned out disaster. After 6 month, I buy an OEM grill from eBay. It only costs 80 bucks

    I painted mine the same color as the car. Looks pretty good, actually.
