Cool... motor sounds awesome and in the relatively light Mustang should be as quick as the Camaro and retain the Mustang's handling advantage. Was close to pulling the trigger on a '09 GT Track-Pak and the supercharging it, but now I'm waiting. With this coming soon, Ford's going to have to really incentive the 4.6L cars.

OMFG! I've been waiting along time for the 5.0 to come back!! 412 hp. is nice with 390 torq. I was kinda mad cause the engine dyno test kinda locked-up on me and didn't get to see the final rpm. Ford is hands-down the king of the road with that. Long live the Mustang!!!!!

Yeah the engine video cuts out on this site. I think in the full video it goes to 7000, or near enough.

I actually think the 4.6 (from 2010) sounds better from the outside. The 5.0 sounds bigger, yes, but it has a mellower tone, more growl than bark. Like the Challenger. I think I'd get new exhaust if I bought a 2011 GT.

Video takes too long to load and stalls briefly. There are many other videos on the net of the car.

Own and am perfectly happy with an '05 GT Premium. Can't wait to try out the new 5.0 tho. Supposed to be available sometime in May or June. Only major option I would add to the new GT premium is the Bembro brake package, but would love to test drive both available higher differential ratios.

This is the first real/major upgrade since the car came out in '05. Upgrade has taken 2 years, 2010 & 2011, because of tuff economic times.

After searching for three months I finally found a 2011 Grabber Blue 5.0 GT Premium with auto trans. There were only four dealers on the West Coast that had one so I did a little driving to buy the one that fit my needs. Many dealers had them in Blue but they were six's.
After a month of having my new Mustang I have to say there is enough car in it to keep me happy for a long time. So far I have been to 125 MPH and still pulling hard but before you say I was breaking the law, I was on a airport runway. After talking to some experts on the Mustang, they are telling me that with the stock program in the computer the speed lock out is set for 147 MPH and with a aftermarket program installed, the speed lock out is off and the car is capable of 165 to 170 MPH. Which you should never go that fast with the OEM tires.
If anybody has any doubts, please correct me as I do have some issues with what I say.
But I must say that I am one happy camper.
