We all benefit when a problem is discussed on the open forum so please don't take it to email. Thanks.

reasonable request.....sorry about that......would like to know more about the beach being used. Trying to decide if the Rav4 will be suitable on Fire Island NY seems that I more info regarding the traction control on the 09-10 Ravs. Do you engage the 4wheel lock and then turn off the traction to simulate a true 4WD like the jeeps?

Is there anything additional you need to do when going on the beach ?

How much do you take the tire pressure to ?

How do you reset the tire pressure light ? Do you need to overfill the tires ?

Do you need to disengage the traction control

    Thanks for the help

typically the tire pressure runs between 12-15 lbs before entering the beach.
    traction control should be disengaged.
    speed limit is 10 mph
in order to reset the tire pressure light you need to overinflate the tires by 4 lbs

    Thanks for the information .

Can you tell me how the 4 WD drive lock worked for you . This was a big selling point to me since most if not all SUVS in this range do not have the lock

    Tks
