Rear running lights not working.

I have a 99 Lincoln TC with rear running lights out. How do I fix to problem? Where can I begin to look. All other lights (Break, turn signal and reverse) work properly but the normal real running lights still do not work.

I have a 99 Lincoln TC. It has been telling me that the door is ajar. I don't know which door it is or how to fix the problem. First, where is the door ajar sensor in the TC. Second. How can I fix this problem? I spayed WD40 in the lock and tried to open and close the door a few times but it still has the same problem. What else can I do?
