Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? It may simply be a problem with how you insert the nozzle into the gas tank receptacle. Be sure that the end of the nozzle does not make contact with the tube. Gas pumps have a cut-off mechanism that will activate when it senses a pressure change in the fuel flow. When the nozzle tip contacts the tube, the pressure drops and activates the cut-off.

    Give that a try!

THIS IS NOT THE PROBLEM. IT IS SOMETHING IN THE EMISSIONS THAT WILL NOT RELEASE THE AIR OUT OF THE GAS TANK.

The emissions return specifically does not release air from the tank. You do have a canister mounted in the left rear quarterpanel, but that would not cause this problem. A damaged filler tube, or something in the filler tube itself could cause this, but there is no vent for filling the tank.

ps, please turn off the capslock. Makes it hard to read, and is computerese for shouting. ;)

Then it's probably the vent valve located at the top of the gas tank. Perhaps someone with hands on experience would jump in to provide some guidance here?

did you find out what was causing this? My son's 2001 blazer is doing the same thing. He has to get gas in a gas can then put it in his blazer.
