2007 Hyundai Elantra 30k Maintenance - Warranty

Hi, my Elantra is at just past 30k right now.

Just checked the Owner's Manual and realized how it mentions the first of (DATE or MILEAGE). Meaning 30k maintenance should be done at 30k or 24 months whichever is earlier. Thing is, the car is now 2.5 years old. Should I be concerned regarding the warranty?
I HAVE of course kept on top of the oil changes and such.

Mind you, I'm not keen at all about going back to the Dealer for this or future scheduled maintenance checks because of their overcharging. Yet I wonder if I'm somewhat selling myself short on possible coverages. That's if the aforementioned concerns about warranty are ill-founded.

Have already read plenty of other posts here &/or elsewhere and seen what other folks stated on the subject. That is, to demand that merely the barest minimum required service be performed.

Any suggestions, input?

I have three Elantras-- 05, 06, and 08, all bought new. I've learned a few lessons, some the hard way, about the warranty and maintenance. Here is my take:

Regular fluid and filter changes at or about the recommended mileage intervals will virtually guarantee you go past 100K miles. This is true with all cars today as engine tolerance and design is tighter now than ever before. 5K oil changes are more than adequate.

The timing belt will last to at least 90k miles. Get this done at an independent shop for the best price.

Just do the basics, drive with care, and you will get the most for your money. --Jack
