Msg#1 Clutch Fan replacement by aeromech
Feb 04, 2001 (08:32 am)
I just had my clutch fan replaced on a Dodge 1500 5.9 and was told they installed a heavy duty
fan. It seems to take much longer to release like I have the OD off in low gear. Runs fine otherwise and temp stays about 10 degrees lower, it has been very cold in my area.
Bottom line anyone know if this is or can be a problem.

    Hi,
I have a 94 Toyota Standard bed PU. I am interested in installing a glass pack muffler with hopes to possibly increase HP, MPG's, and to give the truck a meaner type growl. Any advantages or disadvantages to installing this type muffler?? Any advise would be helpful!!
    Thanks.

Could anyone give me any idea how many miles I should be able to drive may 1989 Nissan pickup? Is there somewhere that I can look up the average total life miles on vehicles? I have been told repeatedly that these little trucks are very long lived, but how long is it REASONABLE for me to expect to be able to keep it running reliably?
    75,000 miles? - 100,000 miles?

I have a '91 Nissan truck with 120,000 miles on it. Only changed the alternator and starter on it over the last 10 years. Changed oil on schedule as well as trans, rear end, etc. and has never failed me. Still going strong too.
