Check Engine Light on - code P1844 (Trannie fluid pressure sensor) (Outback Sedan H6 engine). They say it may be the wire harness or bad wires (shorting-out). Runs fine - trainee fluid ok (& changed recently).

Any advise on where the wire harness is and how to check the wires - they want almost $800 to replace harness, which may not fix the prob.

    Thanks!
