Have any other Azera owners that have State Farm Insurance seen their insurance going up? Reason State Farm gives me is, the claim experience on my make and model of vehicle has resulted in an increase to my vehicle rating group for collision coverage. I have not had any tickets or chargeable accidents, maybe they are trying to collect for the $3000 hail damage they paid for. They isn't enough Azeras on the road to be involved in alot of accidents.

Insurance rates go up and down depending on wether the company is making or losing money along with many other complicated factors such as how many miles you drive, how many accidents and tickets you may have and yes how expensive it is to repair the Azera.

Bottom line: Don't be mad just shop the rate with other companies and decide if a switch is in your best interest. For the best rates go online. try esurance, Geico etc. if you need personal service, stay with a major carrier with local offices.

Thanks for your reply. I know what you mean about the up and down factors. No tickets on record but I did have a big hail damage claim and rear bumper replacement due to a twixer and dumb me stopping for a red light. Of course the twixer didn't have any insurance. I hate to change companies since my house is with the same company.
Just wanted to touch base with other Azera owners who might have State Farm coverage to see if they are seeing the same increases.

UNFORTUNATELY, for us... the companies all try to adjust their rates according to the claims made, as well as the tickets, etc... and yep that sometimes make the rates go up, regardless of who is at fault. Pretty bum way for us, but that is how they keep making money. I know what you mean about changing companies though, that too is another pain.. oh well, sometimes it seems we just can't win. Good luck coming out better.

If you keep the car for awhile, you'll probably see several fluctuations for the same reason. My Infiniti G35 insurance would go up because "the rating for this vehicle has changed," and then maybe a year later, it'd go down for the same reason. I had been with State Farm for about 20 years, and had homeowners with them too, and just didn't want to bother shopping around.

Glad I didn't - when my car was totalled, I got a much better payout than I thought I would, and their mobile unit delivered a check to my house on the same day. Maybe I could get the same level of service for a cheaper rate from another company, but I'd rather not take that chance. It'd have to be a significant savings.

Your driving record, the car you insure, and where you live have a lot to do with your rate...but unless you're very young and drive a high performance car, I would not think $200 a month is cheap.
We pay $115/month for full coverage on an Azera and a Lincoln MKT.

Credit score can not be used in California.
