Are we still able to get the 2015 E class for a 27 month lease? The dealer I visited with on Saturday told me that we can only get 24 or 36 months now that they are trying to get rid of the 2014's. 27 month lease only available for the 2014's now?

If it works for you I would prefer a 24 over 27 anyway to try and make sure the tires don't have to be replaced as they are pretty costly.

New to leasing. Looking at 2014 e350 wagons. 36 months probably but I dont care about length, just whatever works best. How much should I expect off MSRP and what money factor should I push for? If the answer is "standard". What is standard? I see that answer a lot and not sure if it's the same on wagons as it is on sedans. Thanks in advance for any help!

There are generally no special deals on the wagons....the wagon leasing numbers are different than the sedans, etc. I haven't checked recently, but the standard mf has been around .021. As you probably know from reading on the web, "invoice price" is just a marketing tool..the dealer actually pays far less for the car. At a minimum, especially with the 2015's here or just about here would be "invoice price" but probably they should take off in the area of $10K from the MSRP. I'm sort of shooting in the dark here...but trying to help you.

I'd get a quote from the dealer and post the info here BEFORE you sign anything. MSRP, Selling price, Money factor, length of lease, residual and make sure you indicate if tax is or isn't included (and what the tax rate is). In almost every case, we can help you reduce the cost or make a smarter lease...especially since this is your first lease. Unless you find the very unusual salesman, they will try to get you to put money down so the monthly cost looks cheaper or because they claim they have a special deal from Mercedes. Just insist on no money down up front from the get go. It's always amazing to me that folks get a 36 month lease for $500 with $3600 down and think they are actually paying $500 a month for the car....when obviously they are paying $100 a month of the cost up front so the real cost is $600.

Some advice up front. Put no money down on a lease. Pay the first months payment and any legally required fees and taxes. Put everything else in the lease payments. Include Mercedes Maintenance in the lease for the length of the lease.

You do care about length of the lease to the extent that you want to pay the least total cost per month of having the car. Don't let the dealer tell you that the 36 month (or whatever) is the best.....run the lease for 24, 30 and 36 months. Ask if there are any 27, 30 or 33 month deals....by this I mean they let you use the 24 month residual on a 27 month lease (my lease is that way).

hope this helps a bit....I'll try to help if you post the deal you've been offered here.

Thanks for the info! If there are no money factor deals on 2014 wagons, should I be looking at 2015 wagons as well? Looks like a lot more inventory of 2015 wagons and I'm assuming residuals are much better on 2015s so unless I get a killer discount from MSRP, maybe 2015 would be better? I saw a guy on 2015 lease forum got 10k off on ordered wagon. If I could get anywhere near that, it seems like 215 would lease better. I'm assuming I should just price out both unless I'm missing something. Buying was so much easier! Thanks again.

Residual may be better on 2015's, but depending on inventory, MBFS may sweeten the residual on a 2014 to help move metal.

I agree with everything @ghstudio‌ said in his above post. We're here to help.

    '14 E350 wagon. What do you think of 12.5% off MSRP (72k for 63k) 36 month, 7,500 miles/yr, 60% residual and .0022 MF?

They do only if the lease origination fee/bank fee of $795 AND the dealer "administrative" fee are included. It's far more likely that the "out the door" lease price of that car would be $825 plus tax (assuming $795 bank fee/$600 dealer admin fee").

    So some comments...

    1) obviously, make sure you know what's in that price of $63K and any other fees/charges that are going to be added.

    2) since you are at the standard MF, you can use multiple security deposits. I've written about these in this forum....please find them and read. They will bring the cost down from $825 to $772 a month. (before you confuse them...multiple security deposits are NOT money down up front...the difference is you get the MSD back at the end of the lease). There are a couple of states (NY is one) that don't allow multiple security deposits...but almost all others do and they are a great deal. Some dealers will tell you they aren't offered just because they don't know about them or don't understand them...don't accept that...it's part of Mercedes standard lease.

    3) Please be smart and add mercedes maintenance into your lease. If the "cost" is $2000, you will only actually pay $800 because the maintenance is treated as a feature on the car.

    4) discount seems reasonable, mileage is low, but you know your driving.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you! I will ask about the multiple security deposits and maintance. Great info! Acq fee was 795. I'll need to double check dealer admin fee. Thanks again.

Does anyone have a sense as to whether 10k back of MSRP on a 2014 E350 is a good price -- $62.3k msrp? It seems like the discount is a little weak given the fact that 16s will be here soon and there is a redesign coming. Thanks.

Thnx. I actually did better. I did a one pay lease that brought the MF from .00130 down to .00050. Saved me 2k!

I walked out writing a check for 13,200 for the full 27 months including prepaid maintainence. I only did 7500 miles bc that's all I need, but to go 10k it wold only have been 675 more. If I am getting close I will just pull through again later.

Not bad for a 62k car. It's a very nice ride. Plus mb protects your payments even if you total or lose the car.

Great Deal @travispete1‌, where are you located ? That is a deal that I would really like. My deal isn't that good. In the original post of 507 before the single pay, did that involve money down ?

    Thanks, Jeff

If you do the one pay lease, off the buy rate, the MF should be .00050 (it discounts it 80 bps). The residual on the 14s is 68% for 10k miles/27 months. That is the irony. The 24 mo residual for the 15s is like 65%. Makes no sense, but I am not complaining.

I don't.. if it's a demo/loaner car, and it qualifies for a new car lease, then it's probably around $0.20/mile reduction in residual (or higher)
