Premium gas

Does premium gas have more or better additives than regular gasoline?
My Jaguar tech suggested the above.
I trust Edmunds opinion.
Tell me if it's so or not.

Not necessarily. All gas in the US has to have a minimum additive pack. And simply having more additives doesn't necessarily mean your car needs them or can take advantage of them.
