Subaru Legacy sedan vs Subaru Wrx vs VW passat vs Mazda 6?
I am looking to buy an used car. The maximum budget is $20K. I am an everyday driver ( 2 miles to work + avg 350 miles on weekends ). I am not a racer on the weekends but would prefer a sporty looking car, 4 seater, 4 door, manual transmission with a good handling in snow. Which one of these would be good for my purpose. I will be keeping the car for around 4-5 years at maximum. I am finding it difficult to narrow down my choices. Normally, I would go with WRX but its price is on the higher side and I am not a racer. So kind of feel, it is more than what I need. Which one would you suggest ? Any other cars that would suit my needs? Please help.So confused.

Aside from the WRX, you aren't going to get much in the way of sporty looks or stunning performance with any of your other choices. Probably the Passat will drive the best, but the styling, especially on the models a year or two old, is rather dull. The others aren't that much different. And most of the time, a V-6 option doesn't come with a manual transmission, so there goes the horsepower.
Have you looked at the Nissan Altima? Again, not all that sporty but a very nice all-around car.
