03 Navigator, Had engine replaced at dealer 14 months ago, Message center problems.
Just noticed this past Thursday that while trying to activate the "Park Assist" feature, I got a message of "Data error", Noticed same message on one or two other features. Today(Saturday) I get nothing while searching for the Park Assist, it's not even an option, but when I put the trans into reverse, I get the message to "check park assist"
I'm wondering if anyone knows what I might expect to hear when they put it on the computer this Monday morning, please help, I hate surprises...................

I've been digging around on this question and what I came up with is that the vehicle has to be scanned for "C" codes and "P" codes. It should be read a C1983 code (radar sensor fault) P1700 (LR sensor fault) or P1703 (RR sensor fault). If it's a C1983 then that is mostly likely the park assist module itself.
