What next? Truck will not start
HI all, I have a 2002 Z-71 that will not start. It will turn over. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, relay and fuse. It will not start. If you spray starting fluid in to the throttle body it will start and stay running as long as you keep srpaying. WHen you stop spraying it it quits.
What next?

Diagnosis needed. You've determined it has spark because it runs on the starting fluid. Have you verified the fuel pressure? You can borrow a fuel pressure testing set from some box stores. You can listen for the fuel pump to run for a couple of seconds after the key is turned to ON to prime the system. You can open the connector valve but not with engine hot and use a cloth to catch any spray if there is fuel pressure.
Next is whether the injectors are opening to squirt the fuel if there is pressure. You can use a small light bulb with the bare wires for connectors that are used in running lights: stick each wire into the connector then have someone crank engine and watch for flash indicating that injector fired. I would think you could feel the injector pulse as it fired when the engine is being cranked.
