Has anyone experienced a jolt after a hard stop? 2005 Toyota Tundra.

I just experienced a scary jolt... I came to an abrupt stop and it felt like the brakes weren't fully engaged so I swerved just in case and as I recovered the truck gave a jolt hard enough to make the tires screech, now the truck had done this twice before but not this violently. As I accelerated it had no acceleration and so I let up off the gas pedal and applied light pressure and it kind of coughed it out and went, but still experienced some issues accelerating. Eventually I pulled over and turned it off for 10 minutes after that it was fine, and the TPS light that has been stuck "on" was now off.

the stopping/brakes-not-fully-engaged/jolt sounds like the ABS system doing things which its software is programmed to do depending on sensor input. the gas pedal & TPS issue sounds serious and indicates your throttle position sensor is faulty. throttle position is also an input to the ABS computer so a wrong TPS reading could fool the ABS into engaging. please have the vehicle serviced immediately - probably test/swap the TPS.
