Steering squeal. Honda Odyssey.

When turning the wheel to the left, the car makes a squealing sound.

The squeal sounds like metal on metal.
It seems to come from the wheel well on the drivers side, and not the passenger side.
It only occurs when turning left, for about 25 degrees (or about 1/2 the total turn of the wheels)
It occurs with the engine off, or engine on and in drive, reverse, or park.

Any ideas? steering system problem, suspension?
