Ford Taurus rear brakes seizing up
Anyone else having rear brake calipers seizing up? Mine seized at about 25000 miles and the garage had to unseize the calipers. Of course it also prematurely wore done my pads since they told me I should expect a brake job on the back within a year. Front brakes seem to be fine.

surely both rear calipers were completely SWAPPED and not merely unseized!?
And It occurred for both rear calipers? please stop driving the car and replace those calipers immediately - they have already failed dangerously once.Yes I've had that occur while driving next to a bridge-entrance and gorge in Essex VT. caliper seizing is one of the most dangerous mechanical failures possible on a vehicle.

What kind of Ford?
2010 Ford Taurus
It was the left rear brakes, thanks
I've never heard of a caliper suddenly seizing especially after only 25,000 miles.
I suppose anything is possible.
