    I paid $140 for a new batteryfrom AutoZone for my 2009 Vibe last Fall, and it takes a much smaller battery than the Benz. For a dealer purchase that price isn't actually that bad.

    Easiest way to replace a Mercedes battery is to call Mercedes roadside assistance. It does not cost any more money and you get great service and no hassle. Unlike other manufacturers, Mercedes provides roadside assistance even after your warranty expires.

    You should replace those trunk struts ASAP. You have been warned.

    They were warned about the struts months ago.

    That's not a bad price for dealership swap. batteries are certainly pricey these days.

    Autozone would have sold you a battery replacement for $179. Most owners purchasing a car like this second hand would have probably hit up Autozone or Advance Auto ($189) for a new battery.
