Motorcycle Transport - 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel Long-Term Road Test
Edmunds used its new long-term 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel to haul a motorcycle to a track day. The track riding was fun, tangling with a Harley gang was not.

That's not a fun situation. One really wants to just call the police to get the guy arrested for public intoxication and possibly terroristic threatening. However, that seems like a good way to agitate him or his friends. I think you did well; just rebuke him while not trying to be too memorable either (not making a big scene, swearing, threatening, shouting...), he'll hopefully just move on with his night.
Your biker issues sucked, but they weren't Harley dirt bags htey were motorcycle dirtbags that ride Harleys.
That guy in NYC that got himself killed harassing a guy in a Range Rover, he was riding a sport bike much like yours, does that make you a sport bike dirtbag?
we get our fair share of these people riding through Colorado in the summer. always makes hotel stays interesting. if you just talk about how great it would be to own a harley one day, they usually switch gears and tell you all about it. then you have a hard time getting away but they don't feel disrespected. agree with bankerdanny though... just as many [non-permissible content removed] street bikers out there too.
+1 for the 8ft bed but I don't think that would have helped much. Leaving the hotel and going somewhere else up to sleeping in the back seat at a Quiktrip or other major truck stop would be a better option.
The bed length isn't really a fault of the truck. The RAM crew cab can be spec'd either with the 5'7" like this truck or the 6'4" bed. You can't blame the truck for having a short bed when that's the one you bought.
Exactly right - just like the Silverado - they got the short bed and then complain about it.
