Honda Civic battery keeps dying

Hello,
I have a 2009 honda civic sedan. My battery died twice in the last month. I had the car on accessory mode with the radio in and windows rolled down for no more than 30 minutes. When I went to try starting my car it would not turn over. I would just get this clicking sound and all my lights on the dash board will light up and flash. I know my battery is good. Is this normal to happen for just leaving the radio turned on. I just can't believe it would drain that fast. The weird thing is that the radio and accessories still worked even though it would not start. wouldn't nothing come on if the battery was dead? My car started back up after bing jumped each time and has been starting fine since it died. Not sure if my alternator could be going or if honda has some security feature where it kills the car is you are just in accessory mode for a certain amount of time?

Not unusual for other things to work even though it won't start, takea a lot more power to turn it over then for other things like the radio. Even though it seems like battery is good, if its the original it may be time for replacement. If it is showing its age might not take to much to take it below where it could start (like haing radio on for a bit)

I agree with the other poster. If it's the original it's time to go.
