Dodge Dakota Starting issue

I bought a 2002 Dakota quad cab 3.9 the truck starts every time after a few cranks though. I crank it and no start then crank it again and it usually starts if I drive for a while go to the store then come back out it starts right up but if it sits for more than an hour it takes more than one crank to start not a big deal just annoying any help would be awesome thanks.
