    Completely practical... until you have a child. And then you begin to understand the strong draw of the Porsche 911.

    The real world doesn't lie---you don't see a lot of very high mileage Corvettes for sale, like you do Porsche 911s---so I think most (certainly not all) Corvette owners are still putting them in the "toy" category, and don't drive them as a primary car.
