2015 BMW 328Xd Sport Wagon lease | 3-series
I am trying to help my son lease a 2015 diesel wagon. Can you tell me the lease money factor and residual percent for 36 months 10K per year? This will be an ordered car. On an ordered car what is a reasonable amount to pay over the dealer invoice for the car? Are there any incentives on this vehicle this early in the model year? Thank you for your help. And one last question a dealer has told us that the residual is based on the negotiated price of the car not the sticker price. Is that correct?

Most BMW dealers will give you about the same deal on an ordered car as a car off the lot, unless that car on the lot has special incentives. On a new 2015, you can calculate the invoice, then add training/ad fees of about $500, then somewhere around $500-$1250 over that is a fair selling price. There are no incentives on this model.
The residual information is incorrect. Residual is always a percentage of the full MSRP.

Thank you once again for the information. The dealer is hot to push us into a loaded left over 2014 diesel. I suspect there are incentives on the 2014. Do you know if there are any incentives and the amount of any incentives on the 2014? I guess I would also need the MF and residual on the 2014 sedan as there are no 2014 wagons in the north east............or so I am told

Got what sounds like a really good offer on a 328i (sorry didn't mean to hijack the diesel thread...) xDrive Sport Wagon 2014: MSR $50,035; cap $44,935. Lease factor 0.00130; Residual 64%. Down $0; Monthly lease $472.
Only problem is that I need to pull the trigger today, as pricing/incentives will change starting 9/4.
Just not sure what to do. Wait and hope for an even better deal (possibly on the 2015 model)? Or go ahead and make the deal.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Base MF and good discount from sticker .. only way to make it better is to use MSD to lower the MF.

Doesn't look like that good of a deal - there is $1000 holiday cash and a $500 eco credit, so you're only getting a discount of about $2400 from sticker.
What may be working against you is supply - I can't imagine there are a lot of 328xd Wagons available. Dealer may know this and using it to increase the prices on you.

Yes, these are not that available, which plays in their favor.
If you don't ask, you don't get ... I don't keep track of individual deals, so I can't say what the best discount I've seen.

I could not get more than 7% below MSRP, but they provided that without haggling when I asked for their best price. This DOES include the $1000 holiday credit and $500 eco credit, so the incentives got me to invoice price. Dealer immediately accepted my lower MF's when I stated the numbers I wanted. For a relatively less common diesel wagon, I am pleased. This vehicle is NOT on their lot, they identified one in production and secured it for me. I selected all colors and options. They will allow me to place the initial down payment (about $6200) on my CC, so that I receive the 3% rewards.
