Honda CR-V. Spring-like noise when driving D:
Hey guys,
Lately, my Honda-CRV 2003 EX started making a weird noise when driving. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the sound comes from the front passenger wheel. Here's a recording of the spring-like noise when driving at low speeds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68bG_nJfpGk
The noise matches the speed of rotation of the wheel.
Additional info:
The noise comes on after a few minutes of driving (typically after hitting the brakes a few times).
It doesn't get louder with increasing speed, but it gets louder with increased (harsher, more frequent) braking.
After letting my car rest (turned off) for a few minutes, the noise reduces/disappears (depending on how long I let it cool down).
What can the problem be??
Thanks in advance
Comments
My guess is a warped rotor, or a sticking caliper.
