Clicking near driver's tire when first started. Van is still in park and not moving.

Goes away after a minute. No sounds while moving. A/C, etc. on opposite side of van.

Hard to say from this distance, but two things that come to mind that are more likely to occur when cold and go away when warm would be a slight exhaust leak and b) some valve lifter noise.

Maybe better described as low scraping. It does not seem to increase when I rev it. Only hunch I have is maybe very noisy ABS.

Okay, not rev related. I guess you could try to listen to the Electronic Brake Control Module with the hood up. Lower left side of engine compartment.

After doing a little checking, I'm wondering if it is the traction control. It did start after I was hopelessly stuck in the mud a couple weeks ago. Since it only kicks in when traction is lost,
maybe I only hear it when going through startup check? Anybody have experience with this?

Sound is not coming from above master cylinder, seems below in wheel well area.

Well that could be it then.
