2008 Buick Enclave slow to turn over after filling gas tank.

With the last 4 fill ups, the times it takes for the engine to start is getting longer. The range has been 5-15 seconds. At no other time have I had this issue. The check engine light came on around the same time the issue started. Driving distance does not seem to make a difference. I'm not mechanically inclined, so please spell out any suggestions you have. Thanks so much!

I keep reading your post and I'm not clear what you're saying is happening.
Does the engine crank over with the starter turning it, but doesn't starting firing and getting up to normal idle speed until 5-15 seconds of cranking?
Are you saying it only happens immediately after filling it with gasoline at the station?
The check engine light is on, and have you had a quick check done at a big box store that plugs in a reader and gets the number code or has a friend plugged in a reader. The code will be in the form
P0XXX, like P0440, or P0442.
Write down what the code is and let us know here.
What's missing is how many miles are on the engine and have the sparkplugs and spark wires, if needed, been replaced if mileage is over the amount recommended in the owner manual for changing.

I have not checked the codes for the error detected. I am currently out of town, (without the vehicle) and will let you know ASAP.
There are around 111,000 miles on the engine and no spark plugs or cables have been replaced.
The check engine light is important. You need to find out the code to see if it has any relevance to the slow start.
The next time you start the car after it has sat long enough you would notice a long cranking time before the engine starts to run on its own, turn the key to ON without cranking for a few seconds. Then to OFF. Repeat this 3 times. On the 4th time actually crank the car and see if it starts up more quickly. That would indicate a weak fuel pump or other problem letting the fuel lines lose pressure that normally is maintained while engine is off.
