You can do your own mods with better results for that cost, but the fact that this kit maintains the manufacturer warranty is pretty good. This car may finally be worth owning now.
CR-Z EX $21,840 + HPD kit $5,495 + Dealer Install $? = over $27,335
Seriously who in the world would be stupid enough to go that route? There are other fun cars to drive out there (GTI, BRZ/FR-S, WRX...) for less or as much. Not to mention the CR-Z sports a torsion beam in the back!
Unless Honda brings the European Civic TypeR, in the us they lost me...
This is one of those cases where, if anyone asked me about it, I'd say: "Look, if you want a faster car, sell this and go buy a faster car". With 197HP you aren't going to be Top Gun anyway.
