I bought a nissan murano 2009 SL and, it's not accelerating. Someone told me that should be catalizer's problem, but, even after cleaning that, the problem persists. Can anyone tell me exactelly whats is going on??? I am from Angola, West Africa and I bought the car in USA in

Many thanks.

I have a 2004 Nissan Murano, which I purchased in 2004 and I have maintained it very well. I started having the issue of pressing the accelerator and my Murano not moving since last year. I realized if I turn the key off (Which is dangerous if you are in the middle of traffic attempting to make a left turn!) and turn it back on, the car will start and the accelerator seems to re-set and it moves. I am still trying to have this problem resolved, however the mechanics mention that they will not know unless they remove the gas tank and can really look at it. Well, I have almost been in an accident due to this and I cannot trust nor depend on my vehicle. With all of the similar complaints I have found on this actual problem, I am surprised Nissan never recalled the part. I guess when someone is involved in a accident Nissan will respond.
