    This is pretty good for this type of car. It makes me wonder, what are they doing with the next Honda Pilot. Dial down the performance and weight of the luxury features necessary in the MDX and they might be able to crack 30 mpg highway in the Pilot and that would really shake things up in the 3 row CUV segment. Instead, they continue to crank out the same car they've been selling for years that wasn't even particularly class-leading when it came out.

    Sorry Acura. I sold my 2011 MDX due to the poor fuel economy. Give me a diesel or I will never consider an MDX again.

    Can you please let us know how did you manage to get 29.9 mpg and what should we avoid (driving style) to get 12.6mpg.
