New Car on Lot but Dealer says no Window Sticker! Should I be concerned?

Leasing a new 2015 Tahoe. This is my 3rd Tahoe in a row lease (same dealer). This 2015 vehicle one however doesn't have a window sticker which I find strange. It has 27 miles. The dealer says they don't know where the sticker is and that some cars come to them without the window stickers (or blank ones) which I find hard to believe. I mean someone had to physically take the sticker off the vehicle right? The MSRP on this vehicle is $64K+ so I cant see how it goes missing. They printed out a build sheet but it doesn't feel the same. Its the same model that I have now and it appears to be equipped with everything on the build sheet and I've been in the vehicle and it looks ok but this missing sticker is making me nervous. Thoughts/comments appreciated ASAP. Thanks

Wikipedia says "The Monroney sticker is required to be affixed to the side window or windshield of every new car sold in the United States and can only be removed by the consumer. A fine of up to US$1,000 per vehicle for each offense is authorized if the sticker is missing, and other fees and penalties are authorized if the sticker is altered illegally (including imprisonment). The act does not apply to vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than 8500 pounds (3856 kg)."

Just how heavy is that Tahoe? B)

The dealer should be keeping track of the stickers since the penalties are a bit stiff. If they've lost it, they can get a replacement. Whether you want to wait for the replacement is another question.

One concern is that they sold the truck and the financing fell through and they got it back before the title was issued. More likely that it was in the way on a test drive and it really did get lost. How many miles are on the truck?

Thanks for the reply! 23 miles on the truck. My only thought was that they were in the process of selling the vehicle in another deal that fell thru and they just lost the sticker? I just don't want to be "bamboozled" (nice word, right). They said they ordered a replacement sticker and I have an email to that effect. I just want to make sure the deal is on the up and up is all before I drive off the lot, I'd say I'm on my own.

Sounds like a simple case of human error or carelessness. 25 miles is just moving the vehicle around the lot or maybe a quick test drive or two. That "build sheet" you were shown should cover the bases and there may be a summary sheet available too with a list of all inspections, services and warranty info. GM FAQ.

Some of us enjoy hanging onto the Monroney; if that's you and you buy the truck without a sticker, you can get a "we owe" or something in writing saying they will give you a replacement sticker.
