Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? 2007 GMC Yukon Denali.....Auto Ride/Suspension....
I have a 2007 Yukon Denali..less than 77k miles....hearing this squeaking noise coming from front suspension...Dealer says it's the "auto-ride/suspension"...recommending replacing struts and mounts at cost of around $1800 including parts/labor.... Noise is most prevalent when driving slowly thru parking lots/over speed bumps and/or any road dip... squeak, squeak, squeak, very annoying.....
Is this common issue for suspension with Yukon?? For this extensive work, feel safer having it done at GMC dealer....or are their other recommendations places that specialize in this type of suspension work for lower price w/guaranteed work?? Appreciate any advice before I commit to spend approx. $2k to repair....

My question is are there any electrical connections to the shocks/struts currently there. If so, you may have a problem replacing with aftermarket. If they only have a nylon air line to the shock, then you should be able
to replace them. You will need to check the RPO tag, usually on the spare tire area, that shows the options list for the vehicle. These tell which suspension the truck has.
When you start looking at replacements, they will refer to those codes to determine what replacements will work.
