I just purchased a 2011 Aveo from an authorized dealer. After driving it a few days, I noticed the clock was erratic, hit bump and it goes off but after a while it comes on and works until the next bump. Also, the passenger side airbag indicator indicates no one is sitting in the passenger seat although a passenger is using the seat. Took it to the dealer and they stated they would need to replace the clock and the under seat sensor to correct the airbag issue. My question, how or who can determine if the airbag is installed and is not a counterfeit?
