    The EPA says the 2013 Jetta SportWagen with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine and a six-speed manual transmission returns 30 mpg in city driving and 42 mpg on the highway.

    -- that's actually the 2.0 TDI engine that returns those figures

    Anita, please note that VW does not have a 2013 Sportwagen with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine and a six-speed manual transmission that returns 30 mpg in city driving and 42 mpg on the highway.
