Wonderful - poetic justice. So this guy can't see a curb cut, and also can't see a pair of 10-foot-tall drive gates. I have a corner lot, with driveway entrances on BOTH streets. I get this crap a lot.

Good job on getting it towed. One of our neighbor's friends/family members/acquaintances would sometimes park in front of our mailbox during the day. When the post office notified us as such, I said that they could tow it should it happen again. Honestly though, I wouldn't wish that dragging on them, that hurts to look at!

That's interesting that the tow truck driver didn't put the front wheels on dollies. Then again, the tow truck is not liable for damages.

Yellowbal, given how that dude parked, I bet his front bumper was right on the butt of another car. So the tow truck driver may not have had much of a choice.

I live in an apartment with one garage space per unit and street parking is at a huge premium (mostly because all other residents fill their one garage space with useless junk and park their expensive cars outside) but whenever we park adjacent to a driveway, we make sure we're not blocking it in any way and won't try to fudge it if it is close. I'm happy to see justice was served. People need to embrace the idea that your convenience shouldn't come at the expense of others.
