    Pretty good, that's about 10mpg (about 38%) better than I ever got in my 2004 Jetta with the old 1.8T and 5 speed tiptronic auto.

    The highway mpg is impressive. Overall, haven't compared a Honda/Toyota/Mazda 4 but I'm guessing they do better in town. Weight is still a benefit, my old BMW 135i weighed more.
