97 GMC Jimmy transmission help

I have a 97 Jimmy 4x4 that when its warms up the transmission surges or slips when going into 2 and 3 the high gears work fine i replace it with a different tranny and still doing same ting the abs light stays on dont know if that has anything to do with it i need help figuring it at
