In July I bought the 2014 Sorento SXL and right away I noticed a vibration throughout the vehicle. I brought it in for service and was originally told that the tires needed to be balanced due to it sitting in the lot for a while and the tires may have developed flat spots. Driving home I still had the vibration, but, waited about 2 months before bringing it back to see if the "flat spots" were in fact the issue. The vibration got worse, started feeling it in the steering wheel and brakes. Brought it in today (10/13/2014) and it turns out the rotors were warped (only has 3000 miles on it) - the rotors were considered defective and are being replaced under warranty. Hopefully this will resolve the vibration. Will update when I get the vehicle back in a couple of days.

Warped rotors will only cause vibration when the brakes are applied, so if you had vibration while rolling along the highway and not applying brakes, this fix is not going to take care of all your problems.
