On my 09 cobalt my gauges go crazy, it will read no fuel no power steering, the engine light comes on, to me to looks like the security light comes on too, when u shut the car off and turn it back on sometimes it's fine. The car has never died on me but does shift funny when all this is going on, anyone know what might be going on?

Sounds like some kind of PCM or wiring harness problem but without a scan one hardly knows where to start.
You might try some easy things, like making sure your battery is FULLY charged (low voltage makes the car's various computers go crazy) and that your battery and ground cables, and engine-to-frame ground cable, are clean and secure.
