Mazda Tribute shift gear lights

On my mazda tribune when I put my car n any gear all my gear's light up will on the 2001 Mazda it's a black box around them n sometimes it around 2-3 of the gear's or sometimes it's around all gear's what may b wrong now let me add my call drive great n Yes it do drive and everything but that black box just won't leave from around my gear's
