Stuck in reverse. 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser.
Hello,
We have a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser, automatic transmission. By looking at the dash it appears is stuck in reverse, the shifter moves through the gears but there is no engagement. The last couple of months it has been difficult to shift from gear to gear. From what I've read its probably a broken shifter cable? Also, is there a way to manually change the gears so we can get the car to the mechanic without a tow? It's currently sitting in a drug store parking lot.
