2008 Nissan Rogue Anti-Freeze Overflow

Recently I noticed my coolant overflow container is empty when I look under the hood. I added some anti-freeze to the overflow container and then about a month later it is empty again. I notice it is empty when the engine is cool. I always look under the hood and it always showed anti-freeze at least half full in the overflow.

Any suggestions?

Checking for leaks somewhere is always a good thing. In addition I am not familar with Nisson but in other vehicles if the overflow was empty it is likely radiator was also low and has since gobbled up what you added to overflow. If you check level in radiator it might be a good thing to ensurec its full plus overflow to cold line. Then I'd be checking on a very regular basis to see if there is an un-expected loss of coolant and go from there.
