Our 2014 Mini Cooper raised its lifetime average one full mile per gallon from 24.7 to 25.7, but this was no thanks to my inefficient driving.

Dismal numbers for this kind of car...

    Could there be something wrong?

Yes, THEIR'S are! They have yet to do a highway-exclusive roadtrip. Then, they will easily exceed 40mpg. I averaged 45 mpg on my last trip. I have a picture to prove it.

Perhaps you guys will drive your MINI more in the near future, and THEN you'll have more to say about it. Hint! Hint!

Stop making excuses for this car Edmunds. 25mpg for a 130hp sub compact car is awful.
Other bigger/heavier/more powerful cars in the fleet are doing better.

Get this car checked out. You had a transmission fault error earlier on, maybe there is a transmission issue causing this.
Other owners are getting far better mpgs. Stating that a couple of drivers at Edmnuds touched 30mpg, like that is a good thing, is a joke. I got better gas mileage in my 2006 BMW 330i.

There is something wrong with this MINI. Find out what that is.

Fuelly's 2014 MINI Coopers are AVERAGING 32.6 mpg:

Also, your "Best Range" is telling me that you're doing mostly exclusively City driving. It could go as high as 400 miles, if you were doing highway-only.
