The rent charge is the name given to the interest you pay for borrowing money on a lease.

Being offered Cap cost of $22,410.00 ($21,785 + $625 acq fee) for $290.08 (includes 10% PA tax) and $540 at signing (1st & fees). Being told the money factor is 0.00068 and residual is 60%. Is this a good deal? Is the acquisition fee of $625 correct? Seems high. Is it negotiable? What should be the cost of extra miles? Thanks!

If it's a 36mo, 12K/yr lease, then the money factor and residual are accurate. I show the acq.fee as $595 on Subaru leases. There may be some other fee added in, as SMF does not allow acquisition fee markups. (just $30, either way).

If you want 15K/yr instead of 12K/yr, the residual would be 58%. That will add about $14/mo. to the payment.

Selection is limited in my area and the cars I will be going to look at have a listed MSRP of $21790-$22301 (minor changes in the options).

What are the current money factor and residual for Ohio?

What would a good deal look like with $0 down (taxes, first payment, tags, title, acquisition fee all rolled into the capitalized cost) for someone with T1 credit? What should I expect to be able to negotiate the purchase price down to? Thank you for the help.

Use the Make/Model/Year tabs to research TMV from Edmunds. Once you have a proposed selling price, we can calculate a payment.

Don't assume that low supply means high demand. 4-door Imprezas are not plentiful, because they aren't big sellers. When I leased one in 2008, they were falling all over themselves to get it out the door. And, I was shopping for a stick-shift, which really narrowed the choices.

Much appreciated. Just out of curiosity, why would the Premium and Limited have higher MF and residual at 36/10k? I was told those are the following for April:
Premium - .00087 MF & 62% residual
Limited - .00141 MF & 62% residual

More curious than anything....
