Kia Sedona Headlight Issue

Hello,
My name is Jeff and I'm having headlight troubles with my 2005 Kia Sedona Minivan. My left headlight went out and I bought two headlights. When I went to replace the headlight, it would not turn on. I replaced it with the second new headlights and it still wouldn't work. I thought the lights were dead so I tried using both of the new lights on the right side and they work just fine. I tried designating the fuse but had trouble finding it. This is the first time the headlights have been replaced. What could the problem be?
Thanks for your time
Jeff

Both the right and left side headlights share the same fuses, and relays so since the right hand side works, that means the only things left are the wires to the socket for the left hand leadlight bulb, the socket itself, or the ground connection behind the left headlight assembly.
