Door Handle Replacement. 2004 Nissan Murano.

Hi...I have a 2004 Nissan Murano with a broken driver side exterior handle. The handle seems to cost as much as the labor to replace, and so I wanted to know how difficult it would be to replace the handle myself?

Is it difficult to remove the door panel?

Is it easy to damage other components behind the panel?
