I don't want to assume anything but did you properlay bleed air out of system after changes, vehicle on level ground, heater on and radiator filled as needed in process?

Having same problem with my Dakota same model. Changed radiator cap and removed thermostat but truck still heating. Has been sitting for about 1 year trying to trace down electrical issue. Resolved electrical, but now truck is heating. Any advice "Rusty" or anyone else with good knowledge of Dodge Dakota mechanical issues. Any help is greatly appreciated. Need truck for work. Thanks
