Well, the good news is that the GTI will receive the updated Gen. 2 infotainment system with a 6.5" screen, updated resolution and improved speed for MY2016.

So far you've had more problems with this unit (1) than I've had with MyFord Touch (0) in our 4 month old '14 Escape. The way software changes these days you need to compare these things to those that are similar in vehicles you currently have. Comparing old software in one unit to new software in the other is nonsense and confusing. If you have problems with MFT in your current Mustang then you have something to write about.

I'd be curious how you'd compare the sound of the 2015 Fender with the Mk6 Dynaudio upgraded stereo. Dynaudio has a lot more experience with high-end audio speakers than Fender, and my A/B with a good CD suggests the Fender system hasn't nearly the clarity and finesse of the Dynaudio. But readers want to hear your opinions, not mine :-)

I liked the Dynaudio better as well. I found it's lows and highs to be more accurate and precise. But that is irrelevant. MK7 has Fender now...unless I choose something aftermarket. As TLG said, the Gen 2 system is coming. There is hope that as they update the head unit, there will be speaker changes as well.
