Electrical factory driving/fog lights

I have a 2004 PT Cruiser that the fog/driving lights stay on after the car has been turned off. The only way to get them to turn off is to turn the left turn signal on. Even while driving, they stay on except when the left turn signal is used. The normally only are on when the parking lights or head lights ore used, and can be turned off when the button on the turn signal lever pushed in, but now they stay on when the engine is shut down. Any suggestions?

I took a quick look around and there seemed to be a problem with Multi Function Switch (stalk for turn signals) that is cause. (GOOGLE WAS MY FRIEND AGAIN)

Thanks for the input. Do I need to replace the turn signal lever? Where in Google did you look to find this information? Thanks again...

I only briefly looked, but it appears to be the best solution. For google search try '2004 PT Cruiser fog lights' and pick and chose which place to look further (just if you see an Edmunds mention that looks like this particular message, skip that for now :)
