    Not sure about the Mk7 but the Mk6 MT was not great in bumper to bumper traffic. Clutch modulation was fine but throttle calibration was poor. It makes crawling in bumper to bumper traffic a jerky experience.

    Supposedly one trick for using dual-clutch units in stop & go traffic is to shift into neutral during the stop, then back into D. No help in slow & go situations, but at least it's something.

    I thought it was just me. I really like this car but the DSG is a show stopper for me. In normal mode the car is unresponsive and under powered. It should be named economy mode. In sport mode the car is always one gear too low and you are begging it to shift. It should be named sport + or track mode. They really have to rework their shifting algorithms or develop a few modes in between. I am wondering if the Golf R has the same issue?
